Gommern biomethane plant begins test operations

After just seven months of construction, revis bioenergy GmbH was able to hand over the biogas generation plant with gas processing to Biogas Gommern GmbH. The biomethane plant built in Gommern by revis bioenergy GmbH has already begun its test operations. The plant is intended to process maize, grass, whole plant silage and other renewable resources. revis bioenergy GmbH planned and constructed the plant. “Within 14 days, the plant could be run at full capacity. All aggregates were subject to extensive testing so that official approval went as smoothly as possible”, enthuses Thomas Thiele after successfully passing all of the required tests by external experts.

The good cooperation with the gas network operators (Eon Avacon AG) also ensured a smooth coordination. This collaboration enabled a successful supply of biomethane into the public gas network as early as May 2017, immediately after the attainment of the necessary gas quality.

As well as constructing the plant, revis bioenergy also assumed the approval planning and commissioning of the plant.

We wish the operators much success.
